Week 10
Courage to Stand

“Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord they God is with the whithersoever thou goest.” Joshua 1:9

Joshua faced a moment that felt bigger than him—leading God’s people into the unknown. Fear was natural, but God gave him a command, not a suggestion: be strong and courageous.

Courage isn’t the absence of fear—it’s choosing to trust God in the middle of it. The key to Joshua’s strength wasn’t his ability, but God’s promise: “I am with you wherever you go.”

When God calls you to stand—whether in faith, truth, or obedience—you can do so with confidence, knowing you are not standing alone.

What is God calling you to stand in today?
Don’t let fear hold you back. Stand firm, trusting that God is with you.
Prayer:
Lord, help me to be strong and courageous. When fear rises, remind me that You are with me. Give me the strength to stand in faith today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
